Cagan Management Group, Inc. is looking for a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to support two well-maintained apartment communities in Lake County: Atwater in Tavares and Bristol Park in Mount Dora.

This role is essential to keeping residents’ homes safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. You’ll handle a variety of maintenance needs, from service requests and repairs to turnovers, preventive maintenance, and common area upkeep.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to and complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Complete apartment turnovers to make-ready standards, including minor drywall, paint touch-ups, fixture replacement, and repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and common areas
• Maintain pool areas, breezeways, and grounds
• Assist with light landscaping as needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
• Document all work orders accurately
• Keep parts and supplies inventory organized
• Identify safety hazards and ensure work meets code and company standards

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of multi-family or apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong customer service skills
• Respectful, professional demeanor with residents
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, work in attics/crawl spaces, and work outdoors in Florida weather
• Availability for an on-call rotation, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
