Mount Dora, FL — The Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce (MDACC) celebrated the official ribbon cutting of Sweet Bites by Beirut Bites on January 15, welcoming the new business to the Mount Dora Marketplace with Chamber ambassadors, local leaders, community members, and visitors in attendance.
The ribbon cutting took place at 5:15 p.m. and was immediately followed by a Passport Stamp event, inviting attendees to visit all eight MDACC member businesses located within the marketplace. The event encouraged guests to explore the variety of locally owned shops while supporting Mount Dora’s small business community.
Sweet Bites by Beirut Bites offers a selection of handcrafted desserts inspired by Mediterranean flavors, adding a unique and flavorful experience to the downtown Mount Dora dining scene.
“Opening Sweet Bites by Beirut Bites represents an exciting expansion for us within the Mount Dora Marketplace,” said Hannah Dilday and Patricia Khabbaz, co-owners of Sweet Bites by Beirut Bites. “Beirut Bites has been proud to be part of this marketplace, and creating a second location here allows us to grow our presence while offering something new and sweet to the community. We’re grateful for the continued support and warm welcome from our fellow merchants, the Chamber, and our customers.”
The Passport Stamp event created an energetic atmosphere throughout the Mount Dora Marketplace, strengthening connections between businesses and highlighting the collaborative spirit among Chamber members.
