WQBQ Talk Track: Group Travel Made Easy with Worth It Moments
June 26, 2026The Chamber, The “Q,” and You on WQBQ is a free on-air opportunity for Chamber members to share insights, highlight their services, and connect directly with the community.

For many people, the hardest part of travel is not dreaming about the destination. It is figuring out the details: where to stay, what to see, how to get there, and how to make the most of the experience without feeling overwhelmed by the planning.
That is where Worth It Moments Tour & Travel comes in.
During a recent episode of The Chamber, The “Q,” and You on WQBQ, James Floyd sat down with Erinn Proehl, Founder of Worth It Moments, to talk about group travel, meaningful experiences, and the company’s upcoming Savannah and Charleston trip departing from the Mount Dora area.
Based in Eustis, Worth It Moments creates curated group travel experiences for travelers looking to explore new places without having to manage every detail themselves. The company offers both domestic and international trips, with experiences that have included destinations across the U.S. and around the world.
As Erinn explained during the interview, the idea is simple: take the stress out of travel while preserving the moments that make a trip memorable. Worth It Moments handles the planning, transportation, lodging, itinerary, tickets, and group logistics, allowing travelers to sit back and enjoy the experience.
The upcoming Mount Dora-area trip will take guests to Savannah and Charleston from November 9–13, 2026. The five-day motorcoach trip includes two nights in Savannah and two nights in the Charleston area, combining historic charm, coastal scenery, great food, and time to explore.
Highlights include Historic Savannah, an Old Town Trolley Tour, River Street, Boone Hall Plantation, Patriot’s Point Naval & Maritime Museum, a classic Charleston carriage ride, Tybee Island Light Station, Jekyll Island, Beaufort, and a lunch stop at The Crab Shack overlooking the marshes.
For Erinn, one of the most important parts of the trip is that it begins right here in the Mount Dora area. Instead of travelers having to drive separately, build their own itinerary, or navigate unfamiliar cities on their own, the group boards together locally and shares the experience from the start.
That community element is part of what makes group travel especially appealing. The trip is designed for couples, friends, retirees, solo travelers, and family members traveling together. During the WQBQ conversation, Erinn noted that the group already includes local residents from across the area, creating a travel experience that feels both organized and personal.
Worth It Moments also builds in a balance of guided activities and free time. Guests can enjoy planned excursions and included attractions while still having space to explore shops, restaurants, historic districts, and waterfront areas on their own.
The trip package includes motorcoach transportation from Mount Dora, four nights of lodging, seven meals, and tickets and admissions included in the itinerary. The cost is $1,390 per person based on double occupancy, with a $250 deposit required to reserve a spot.
For Mount Dora-area residents looking for an easy fall getaway, the trip offers a chance to experience two of the South’s most beloved cities without the stress of planning it all alone.
