Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 25th Annual Mount Dora Taste

MOUNT DORA, Fla. — The Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 25th Annual Mount Dora Taste at Sunset Park, bringing together 25 participating businesses, live music from Blender Live Music, and a packed crowd for an evening highlighting the food, drinks, hospitality, and community spirit that make the Mount Dora area shine.

Guests sampled their way through an incredible lineup of local flavor, from appetizers and entrées to desserts, beer, cocktails, and more, while voting for their favorites in the People’s Choice Awards. This year’s event also included Media Choice Awards, judged by participating media and influencer guests.

Best Entrée: Lakeside Inn, Mount Dora — Pork Belly with Bourbon Peach Glaze and Key Lime Chipotle Aioli
Best Appetizer: The Troff — Cajun Grilled Oysters
Best Dessert: K K Ô Chocolate — Mango Petite Gateau
Best Beer: Eden Abbey Brewing Community — Belgian Strawberry Blonde Ale
Best Cocktail: Fiesta Grande Mexican Restaurant — Pineapple-Jalapeño Margarita

Best Entrée: Mavis’ Jerk Shack — Baked Mac n Cheese with Jerk Chicken and Curry Chickpeas and Potato
Best Appetizer: Beirut Bites — Hummus and Pita
Best Dessert: Sweet Bites by Beirut Bites — Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries
Best Beer: Eden Abbey Brewing Community — Belgian Strawberry Blonde Ale
Best Cocktail: Maw’s Mountain Moonshine — One in a Blue Moon Piña Colada

“Twenty-five years in, Mount Dora Taste continues to be one of the best ways to experience the restaurants, beverage makers, music, and community that make this area so special,” said the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are grateful to every participating business, sponsor, media guest, volunteer, and attendee who helped make this milestone year such a memorable night.”
