  • First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora Invites Community to National Day of Prayer

Mount Dora, FL — May 7, 2026 — In a time when many are seeking peace, wisdom, and hope, First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora invites the community to come together for the 75th Annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

The church’s chapel will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering a quiet and welcoming space for personal reflection and prayer. Guided prayer resources will also be available to help individuals pray for our nation, leaders, communities, and future generations.

This year’s theme, “Seeking Him in All Generations” (1 Chronicles 16:24), calls people of all ages to unite in faith and lift up one voice in prayer during a season marked by uncertainty, division, and the need for renewed compassion and understanding.

“Moments like these remind us of the importance of coming together in prayer,” said church leadership. “We invite everyone—regardless of background or church affiliation—to pause, reflect, and seek God’s guidance for our country and our community.”

No registration is required. Individuals may come and go as their schedule allows.
