The Dora Queen is seeking a professional, dependable USCG 100-Ton Captain to join our team in Tavares.

This position is primarily for weekend cruises and private events, with occasional weekday opportunities available. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, customer-service oriented, and comfortable helping deliver a memorable experience for guests aboard one of the area’s most recognizable lakefront attractions.

Responsibilities

Operate Dora Queen cruises and private charters safely and professionally
Maintain a strong focus on passenger safety and guest experience
Communicate clearly with crew, guests, and event contacts
Support weekend cruises, private events, and occasional weekday bookings
Represent The Dora Queen with professionalism and dependability

Qualifications

Valid USCG 100-Ton Captain’s License required
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Strong communication and customer service skills
Availability for weekend cruises and private events
Prior passenger vessel or charter experience preferred

Schedule

Primarily weekends, with occasional weekday opportunities available.
