Tom has over thirty-eight years of experience in Central Florida as a business owner, entrepreneur, inventor and community leader, with a reputation for vision, integrity and performance. His years of conception to completion oversight of multi-million dollar, high-end custom residential and commercial projects, and his passion for eldercare, evolved into Tom’s discovering an opportunity to create a new culture for the Assisted Living/Memory Care business. Tom ventured out to create three large care homes. He spearheaded every aspect of the brand, from architectural design, construction, business planning, marketing and corporate and cultural development to the sales strategies.
In addition to having served on the Board of Directors for Florida Hospital Waterman, Tom enjoys mission work, having done so in Haiti, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru. He is the Chairman and a founding director of the Lake Community Foundation, past director of Florida Choice Bank, and was a member of Vistage International for over thirteen years. He is active in Rotary Club of Lake County Golden Triangle, First Presbyterian Church of Eustis and other civic and non-profit organizations.
Tom and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 35 years; they have two adult children, Tracy and Bernie. Tom enjoys spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with the elderly.
