Presenter Doug Ware
With a 40-year career in the power generation business at Westinghouse and Siemens under his belt, Doug Ware offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise in products, installation, service and repair operations, and organizational and process improvements.
Doug has a BS in mechanical engineering from California Maritime Academy. He successfully managed profits centers with revenues exceeding $200M. When Siemens purchased the Westinghouse power generation business in 1998, Doug led significant organizational initiatives in the areas of continuous process improvement, restructuring, integration, and customer satisfaction. Since retiring Doug has also been a consultant and expert witness for CBS, the successor company to Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Doug has served as a SCORE Orlando volunteer since 2005, providing counsel to many Central Florida small businesses entrepreneurs and presenting business seminars. He served as Chapter Chair of SCORE Orlando in 2010 and 2011.
