DESCRIPTION:Wreaths Across America began laying wreaths on the graves of veterans in 1992.  In 2022\, more than 2.7 million veterans' wreaths were placed by more than two million volunteers on headstones at 3\,702 participating locations around the country.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, December 16 at 10:00 am\, a short ceremony will be held to honor the veterans at Pine Forest cemetery\, 1801 N. Donnelly Avenue in Mount Dora.  Volunteers will then place wreaths on the graves of 400 veterans buried at Pine Forest cemetery.\n\n\n\nThe American Legion Post 35\, Boy Scout Troop 19\, City of Mount Dora\, Cub Scout Pack 277\, Daughters of the American Revolution\, First United Methodist Church\, Golden Triangle Kiwanis\, Mount Dora High School JROTC\, the Rotary Club of Lake County Golden Triangle\, and many community volunteers have sponsored wreaths and committed to volunteering. \n\n\n\nPeople interested in volunteering should visit WreathsAcrossAmerica.org/FL1160 to register.
