Transportation: US Highway 441, State Roads 46, Old 441 and 19A. Interstate 4 within 30 minutes to the east and Interstate 75 within 45 minutes to the west. Florida Turnpike 30 minutes. One local airfield. Orlando and Daytona International Airports are both about one hour's drive from Mount Dora. Bus service and freight service are both nearby. Florida Central Railroad serves the Mount Dora area.

Utilities: Electric, water, sewer and storm sewer are municipally owned and operated 352-735-7105. Some areas outside of city are served by other companies. Cable television available. Local telephone provided by Sprint.   Excellent cellular telephone service available.
